What is an elevator?

An elevator is a special device that allows Minecraft PE players to quickly get to a certain height. They are most commonly found in shopping malls.
Now an elevator is also available in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Block

This very old, but still working modification is probably known to many. It works quite simply.

You create an elevator block: it consists of 1 iron bar and 8 wool blocks. You put one block on one floor and the other block just above or below it, but on a different floor.
Now you just stand on that block and press the special button on the screen to go down, or you just jump. Jumping will take you to the next floor.

This variation is very simple, but it gives you unlimited possibilities.

Similar to the previous modification, this addon also adds special blocks to the game. With them, you can easily climb up and down to the different floors.

The way it works is similar to the one described above.
First, you need to make the block yourself. The production is inexpensive: only 3 bars of iron, 1 bar of gold and 2 red stones.

This is exactly the item you need to install in the base of your elevator. But that’s not all.

There is also a block here that limits the height of the elevator. For this you need to mine 1 red stone and 8 stone blocks.

It itself looks like a brick.
