What’s the Pokémon mod about?

The Pixelmon PE addon adds the very same Pokémon to Minecraft PE that you can have a real duel with! You’ll first have to catch the animal using a special pokéball, and then you can fight others.

When you enter the world for the first time, you will be presented with an interface that asks you to choose one of three starting pokémon. Select and click on “Choose”. Right now we’ve chosen Bulbasaur.

Pokéball

To make your Pokémon appear, you need to select it by clicking on the red button on the right side of the screen and then using the Pokéball to make it spawn.

• Poké Ball (510) – 1 Poké Ball Up + 1 Redstone Dust + 1 Poké Ball Down.
• Poké Ball Up (513) – 3 Red Apricorns.
• Ultra Ball (511) – 1 Ultra Ball Up + 1 Redstone Dust + 1 Poké Ball Down.
• Poké Ball Down (514) – 4 yellow bars.
• Ultra Ball Up (514) – 2 Black Apricorns + 1 Yellow Apricorn.
• Master Ball (512) – 1 Master Ball Up + 1 Poké Ball + 1 Poké Ball Down.
• Master Ball Up (515) – 2 Pink Apricorns + 3 Purple Apricorns + 1 Yellow Bar.

How to tame?

You can find Pokémon in the world quite randomly and it’s pretty easy to find them. Before you can start taming them, you need to get a Poké Ball, the crafting of which is just above.

In order to catch the creature take the Poké Ball and tap it on it. And to catch a critter with higher levels, you’ll need an Ultra Ball or Master Ball, otherwise they’ll start running away from you and you won’t be able to tame them.

Below in the screenshot you can see a tamed Pikachu using the Master Ball, which is level 54! You can tame a total of 6 Pokémon.

Duels

To start a duel with another, you need to tap on the icon of your Pokémon, which is displayed with red, and then tap on the Pokémon you want to start a duel with. Your pokémon will appear and the duel will begin. You can select different functions for the battle. We chose attack and unfortunately Bulbasaur lost. But don’t worry, you can heal your critters with the PokeCenter.

PokeCenter

You can use the PokeCenter to heal your pokémon. Simply place a block on the ground and tap on it to heal.

Pokedex

Tap the Pokedex on a Pokémon to learn more about it. Currently the mod is in Spanish, but support for other languages may be coming soon.

Level up

This feature is currently not working, but we will update this information as soon as it is fixed.

Installing

• Move the “Pixelmon PE” folder to “games/com.mojang/;
• Install the Pixelmon PE texture pack.zip;
• Install the Pixelmon PE.js script;
• Play!

Works strictly on versions 0.14.0-1.0.0. On higher versions can crash.
